Why do puppies insist on only eating things that they shouldn't? In the last 24 hours, I have pried the following from the puppy's grasp:
- Tape
- Plastic
- Candy
- Chewed gum (from the sidewalk)
- Several of the smartest's socks
- Dandelion fluff
Meanwhile- available for her chewing pleasure:
- Rubber snowflake
- Squeaky penguin
- 5 types of bones in varying flavors and textures
- Rawhide gingerbread man
- Kong
- Chew rope
- Felt ball
- Ice cubes
- Old pieces of retired shirts
But alas. The puppy wants what the puppy wants. Which is clearly for me to tackle her to the ground repeatedly and fish around in her mouth with my fingers.
